Immunisation Pack (Year 8-9)

Merseycare NHS Foundation Trust would like to share their new immunisation pack with parents/carers.  The pack contains specific immunisation information relating to Year 8 and 9 children.

 

Some of the questions answered in the pack are:

  • What is HPV / MENACWY / Polio / Diptheria / Tetanus?
  • Do these vaccines hurt and what are the possible side effects?
  • Is the vaccine safe?
  • Who decides whether a young person receives a vaccination?
  • How to consent/decline?
