Liverpool Health and Wellbeing Award

As part of our continued support for the Health and Wellbeing Award campaign, our lunch menu is supplied by multiple award-winning school meals company, Food for Thought, a not-for-profit organisation that focuses on supplying ethically and locally-sourced organic produce.  Please see below for more information on Food For Thought.

Food is freshly prepared every day by our team of chefs. Vegetarian option provided.  All meat is farm-assured from local suppliers, we use free range eggs, and organic milk, pasta and flour. All of our fruit and vegetables are locally sourced, where possible.

Free School Meals scheme

The Local Authority provide extra funding to schools depending on how many pupils they have who are entitled to free school meals. This funding is a great benefit to our pupils and is an important help for us to provide everything they need in school.

Currently we seem to have a significantly low number of pupils entitled to free school meals. We believe some pupils who are entitled to this money may be missing out because parents have not applied.

If you think your child be entitled you can apply in the following ways:

• Apply online
• Complete this form and return to school
• Go to a One Stop Shop
• School can apply on your behalf – if you wish us to do this please contact Ann or Laura in the office and they will do this for you.

If your claim is successful the school will be notified that your child can have free school meals.  The school will ensure that this information is treated with the strictest confidence and handled sensitively.
