• School closure on 28th February 2023

  Due to industrial action by teachers in the N.E.U., taking place on 28th February 2023, our risk assessment shows that it will not be safe to open the school to pupils on that day. We will have insufficient numbers of staff to provide adequately for pupil safety and meet their complex needs.

  Childwall Abbey School will close to all students on 28th February 2023.

  (Please note that this will subject to change if industrial action is called off, in which case parents/carers will be informed by text)

  Future strike action is scheduled for 15th March and 16th March 2023. Parents and carers may wish to put plans in place for alternative childcare on these dates.
