  • Summer half-term!

    Summer half-term break is here. Many thanks for all your support over the past few weeks. It was great to welcome Year 8 parents and carers to their recent coffee morning. Our Year 11s are coming to the end of their exams and coursework. Not long to go now. Keep up the good work everyone!

    When we come back to school on Monday 5th June 2023, we will be very busy as we head towards the summer holidays.

    Here are some key dates for your diaries -

    • Year 11 to Sixth-form Transition Coffee Morning – Friday 16th June
    • Year 11 Work Experience (for those who have chosen to do this) – w/b 26th June
    • Year 11 and Sixth-form leavers last day in school – Friday 30th June
    • Parents Evening – Monday 19th June (3.45pm-5.30pm)
    • Sports Day (weather permitting!) – Wednesday 5th July
    • Year 9 to Key Stage 4 Transition Coffee Morning – Friday 7th July
    • End of Summer Term – Tuesday 18th July (1pm)
  • 'Eat to Meet 2' for May half-term!

    The May “Eat to Meet 2” Half Term programme starts on the 29th May and there are lots of great activities happening over the school holidays. Children and young people, from reception to age 16, who are eligible for benefits related free school meals, will be able to access hundreds of activities throughout the half term holidays including specific provision available for children with SEND or additional needs, at no cost.

     

    There’s a great range of activities across the city including boxing, football, music, dance, cycling, cooking, discos, films, bowling, arts and crafts, drama, a make up course, trips out and much more! Every day there will be a range of fabulous meals available with many schemes holding family events as well.

  • Public Health Letter - Vaping

    Please follow this link to read the latest Public Health information for Parents and Carers, with regard to vaping and young people. Vaping is banned on C.A.S. site and during any school off-site or residential activities, as per our Drugs policy. We take this matter very seriously. Our pupils' safety, health and wellbeing are our top priorities. Thank you for your support.
