  It was lovely to welcome all our pupils, staff and visitors back on site today after a challenging, snowy week of working from home. Thank you to our whole community for supporting one another. Special thanks to the team who helped to make the site access safe so we could get the Spring Term started in person.

• Update notice.

  We are currently intending to open school for pupils on Monday 13th January at the normal time. The site, access roads and transport will be risk assessed prior to that time. Parents and carers will be updated by text if necessary. 

• Remote Learning during Adverse Weather.

  Unfortunately, due to site safety and access concerns and significant transport issues, caused by adverse weather conditions, the school site is currently closed to pupils. This situation is risk assessed regularly. Parents and Carers are updated via text.

  During this time, remote learning provision is available to all pupils through Teams. 

  We hope that all members of our school community stay safe and warm.

  Wishing all members of our Childwall Abbey School community a very Merry Christmas, a peaceful and happy holiday and a very Happy New Year. Our sincere thanks go to all parents and carers for their kind good wishes, cards and gifts. We look forward to welcoming pupils back to school on Tuesday 7th January 2025 at the usual time. • November Parents Evenings

  Many thanks to all the parents and carers who attended our Parents Evening on 11.11.24. It was lovely to have the opportunity to meet to discuss your child's progress. Our second Parents Evening, for those who could not attend last night, is on 18.11.24 (between 3.45 pm and 5.30 pm). Some appointments are still available, These can be by phone call if parents/carers cannot attend in-person. Please call school office on 0151 722 1995 if you would like to book an appointment.
