• Summer holidays!

  Wishing all members of Childwall Abbey School community a very happy, healthy and restful summer holiday. All our good wishes also go with our leavers. School re-opens for pupils on 4^th September 2019. We look forward to welcoming everyone back safe and sound, ready for the new school year. • Raffle for C.A.S. Minibus Fund June 2019

  We continue to fundraise towards the purchase of a new minibus for C.A.S. Over the next two weeks, tickets will be on sale from the School Office at a cost of £1 for a strip of 5 tickets. We have received an amazingly generous donation from one of our families, of a series of vouchers for exciting prizes. We are so grateful!

  The prizes are –

  • A rally Experience for 2
  • 2x Pizza Express Vouchers worth £20 each
  • 2x Odeon Cinema vouchers worth £25 each
  • 1x Taste Co voucher giving money off purchases in a wide variety of shops etc.
  • A variety of other prizes – chocolates, wine, toiletries, cuddly toys.

  Tickets will be available from the School Office until 4/7/19. Thank you for helping to support this special cause.

• School closed to pupils Thursday 23rd May

  Parents/Carers please note –

  Childwall Abbey School will be closed to pupils all day, on Thursday 23^rd May 2019, due to voting in the European Elections. Only those Year 11 pupils who have an exam on that day should attend. (Transport will be provided for those pupils.) School will be open as usual on Friday 24^th May.

• School closing early (13/05/2019)

  Following advice from Liverpool City Council, Childwall Abbey School will be closing early for pupils, at 1.45pm, on Monday 13th May.

  This is due to a potential LFC Parade which would cause transport difficulties and delays. School will close at 1.45pm regardless of the result.

  Transport have been informed. If you collect your child, please arrive at school for 1.45pm. Thank you.

• Welcome back!

  Welcome back to the Summer Term at C.A.S. and a huge “thank you” to everyone who contributed in any way to our fundraising efforts at Easter. The raffle, cake sale and own clothes day raised a magnificent £420, which will all go into our minibus fund. Watch this space for more opportunities to work together to support our children!

  

• Happy Spring Holidays!

  Wishing all our Childwall Abbey School community a very happy and restful holiday. Thanks go to everyone who kindly supported our fundraising efforts for the minibus fund, during the last week of term. We had lots of fun and will let you know the total raised on our return to school in two weeks. Many thanks also go to pupils, parents and carers for their kind good wishes, cards and gifts. Let’s hope the sun shines on us all and that we return to school for the Summer Term refreshed and ready to learn.

• Safer Internet Day 2019

  oday we are celebrating Safer Internet Day at Childwall Abbey School. We all enjoyed a fun and interesting assembly this morning and we will be learning about how to stay safe online, in form time and lessons during the rest of this week.
